New 4-H Summer Outreach Coordinator

Introducing Stephanie Hartwell, 4-H Summer Youth Outreach Coordinator

Hello! My name is Stephanie Hartwell and I am the 2023 Summer 4-H Youth Development Outreach Coordinator for Washington County. I wanted to send out a little bit about myself as we move into the summer and I start to get to know some fantastic 4-H families! I’m originally from West Bend and am an alumni of Washington County 4-H, specifically the Good Luck 4-H Club. During the school year, I am a student at UW-Milwaukee studying Elementary and Middle School Education. But in the meantime, I cannot wait for a summer filled with awesome activities and experiences here in Washington County!

This summer we have many great opportunities to work with organizations in the community. These include Germantown Safety Town, the Boys and Girls Club in Washington County, and the Kewaskum and Slinger Libraries. In order to make these wonderful opportunities a reality, I will need some help from the fantastic members of Washington County 4-H.  I would like to invite all families and members of the 4-H program to come and create awesome experiences for youth across the county as volunteers! This is a wonderful chance to use your leadership skills to promote a sense of belonging and learning within your county, and I hope you consider joining me.

I can be reached at Stephanie.Hartwell@washcowisco.gov or (262)-335-4479 for any questions or ideas. Again, I am so excited to work with 4-H this summer, and to create some amazing opportunities in the community. I hope you can join me in making the best better in Washington County!
