Monthly Cloverline Newsletters are posted on the 4th Monday of each month, and contain vital information for the Washington County 4-H program. Please read the information in its entirety, though some sections may not apply to all 4-H families.

Welcome to the September Cloverline! Enrollment opens this month, Fall Forum registration begins September 1, and Open House is right around the corner. Check out the opportunities below and get ready for another great year in Washington County 4-H. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Extension Office.

Remember:

  • All members must enroll each year in 4-H Online
  • All volunteers must enroll each year in 4-H Online
  • Enroll by November 1 to remain eligible for 4-H activities, and to remain on mailing lists
  • Current enrollments do not roll over automatically

Countywide Project Leaders: Update Your Project Information

As we prepare for the 2026-27 4-H year, please take a few minutes to update your countywide project information so we can have our website ready when enrollment opens on September 2.

A few reminders:

  • If you do not have all meeting dates finalized yet, that’s okay. Submit the information you have now and send updates later.
  • You may set a deadline for members to join your project. Members will not be added after that date.

Fall Forum Registration Opens September 1

Planning to attend Fall Forum? You do not need to complete your 4-H enrollment before registering!

When Fall Forum registration opens on September 1, both youth and adults can register directly through the Fall Forum website. This is the fastest way to reserve your spot.

Fall Forum Registration is open September 1-15, 2026.

Introducing Project Learning Labs for Project Leaders

Looking for new ideas and resources for your project area? Join the new Project Learning Labs, a virtual learning opportunity designed to help volunteers bring projects to life.

The kickoff session on September 24 will include a sample project activity, an overview of available resources, and a chance to help shape future Project Learning Lab topics. No experience is needed. Come learn, connect with other volunteers, and share ideas for future sessions.

To celebrate a successful 4-H year, our club had our annual pizza party. We enjoyed pizza, fruit, and desserts. Afterwards we had a scavenger hunt, played kickball and tug of war. Congrats 4-Her’s!

Later in the month, we attended the West Bend Farmers Market where we helped with set-up and take-down and sold baked goods to the community.

October 2026 Newsletter Submission Reminder

Do you have news, club updates, achievements, upcoming events, or photos to share with the Washington County 4-H community? We encourage clubs, project groups, and volunteers to submit articles for the monthly newsletter.

The October 2026 newsletter submission deadline is Friday, September 25, 2026, which is the Friday before the newsletter is published.

The October 2026 newsletter will be published on Monday, September 28, 2026, the fourth Monday of the month.

Thank you for helping us keep our 4-H families informed and connected. We look forward to sharing your stories and celebrating the great work happening throughout Washington County 4-H!
