Washington County 4-H youth in grades 9 and up are invited to submit an application for a Washington County 4-H summer camp position. Applications are being accepted now through December 1st in 4HOnline. Camp is June 11-14, 2026 at Upham Woods 4-H Camp, Wisconsin Dells. See Camp Youth Staff Positions for position descriptions.
The Washington County Leaders Association is generously covering the cost of room/meals for youth staff.
Interviews for youth staff positions are the evenings of December 9th and 11th. Youth have a choice between an in-person interview at the Public Agency Center, or virtually by zoom: Summer Camp Youth Staff interview sign-up
In addition to cabin, mealtime, and free-time management, youth staff can choose their areas of camp to assist with, such as:
- Nature
- Crafts
- Archery
- Waterfront/Recreation
- Outpost Staff (Outpost is for middle school-aged youth)
- First Aid Certified
- Lifeguard Certified (15 and older)
Applications are now open for Adult Camp Staff, also. Adults must be an enrolled & approved 4-H Volunteer.
