Join us for the February 18th Talkin’ Turkey Tuesday Program

If you have ever wondered what the Talkin’ Turkey Tuesday Program is, Tuesday February 18, 2025 is the day to check it out.  We have an absolutely fantastic lineup of interesting topics and hands-on activities.  We will start out the night promptly at 5:30pm with a geology presentation by our friendly rockhounds. As there is a desire to establish a county 4-H geology project and we have one of the areas premiere rock and gem shows coming to Washington County Fair Park on March 8 & 9, this is the perfect opportunity to experience the Wonderful World of Rocks and Minerals.

After the geology presentation, you will have the opportunity to participate in some wildlife and forestry activities.  Fur, feathers, scat, skulls, sap-suckers, food-chain, voles, moles…so many things to learn and share about.

Then we will have a wildlife art project that reportedly will involve paint, creativity and lots of smiles This might be just the opportunity for you to get a item finished for the WIldlife and Art Contest, to get a fair project completed early or to make a gift for a special person in your life.

And finally, we will have a session of balloon animal-making magic. Doug and some youth leader minions will lead us in twisting, turning and creating.

These activities are family friendly for adults and youth of all ages. To make sure we have enough supplies and helping hands, it would be appreciated if you sign-up at the link below.
