Washington County youth in grades 9 and up are invited to submit an application for a Washington County 4-H summer camp position. Applications will be accepted between Jan 3 – Feb. 14, 2025 in 4HOnline. Camp is June 11-14, 2025 at Upham Woods 4-H Camp, Wisconsin Dells. See Camp Youth Staff Positions for position descriptions.
The Washington County Leaders Association is generously covering the cost of room/meals for youth staff. Youth Staff selected are required to attend a full-day training on Saturday May 3rd, 2025, an evening training the week of May 19th (date TBD), and Family Camp Orientation Meeting on May 29th, 6:30-8pm. First-time youth staff are required to attend New Staff Orientation the week of April 7th (date TBD).
In addition to cabin, mealtime, and free-time management, a volunteer can choose their areas of camp to assist with, such as:
- Nature
- Crafts
- Archery
- Waterfront/Recreation
- Outpost Staff/youth and adult (Outpost is for middle school-aged youth)
- First Aid Certified (youth and adult)
- Lifeguard Certified (15 and older)
- Medical Staff: Registered Nurse or Doctor (adult)
Applications are now open for Adult Camp Staff, also. Adults must be an enrolled & approved 4-H Volunteer.
