Space Camp funding available from 4-H Leaders Association

Partial funding is available for the May 1-5, 2025 Space Camp through the Washington County 4-H Leaders Association (WCLA). To apply for funding, 4-H members need to submit a completed application packet the Extension Office by January 17, 2025, and participate in an interview on January 28, 2025.

Has your child registered yet for Space Camp? Youth in grades 6-8 can register for Space Camp via 4HOnline through December 15, 2024.

WISCONSIN 4-H SPACE CAMP Adventure Awaits! MAY 1-5, 2025 U.S. SPACE & ROCKET CENTER, HUNTSVILLE, AL Delegates team up for hands-on mock space missions and STEM activities in this NASA program while exchanging ideas with 4-H youth from across Wisconsin. Expect tons of learning, meeting new friends, and FUN! WHO? • Must be in 6th-8th grade, maximum age 15 at time of program. • Carry county approval through time of program. Check with your county office about scholarship opportunities. • Register during registration period - Nov 15-Dec 15 • Delegates may only attend once as a youth. HOW MUCH? • The total cost of Space Camp is approximately $1,300 • Some counties offer local sponsorships.
