“So, You Want to Be a Day Camp Counselor?”

  • Saturday, November 23 at 3:00 – 5:00pm
  • Public Agency Center, 333 E Washington St, West Bend

 A training for day camp counselors from 7th grade & up. This fun interactive,training will focus on preparing youth in grades 7 – 13 as day camp leaders and will teach facilitation/teaching concepts, ages & stages, safety, and supervision within 4-H policies. These skill can also be used at the 4-H Action & Promotion booth at Fair, the 4-H Food Stand, Farmers Market, etc. This event is facilitated by the Washington County 4-H Educator.

“So, You Want to Be an Overnight Camp Counselor?”

  • Monday, November 25, at 6:00 – 8:00pm
  • Public Agency Center, 333 E Washington St, West Bend

This training for youth in grades 9 and up will focus on introductory skills for high school-aged youth as overnight camp leaders.Interactive and fun… the training will cover the basics of an overnight camp counselor. (This is NOT a prerequisite for applying as a teen staff for June’s summer camp). You don’t have to have camp experience…your interest and enthusiasm to check it out is all that is required!  This event is facilitated by the Washington County 4-H Educator.

4-H Teen Connect

  • Saturday, November 23 at 6:00 – 8:00pm
  • Public Agency Center 333 E Washington St, West Bend

A fun, relaxed night for 8th grade through high schoolers. Pizza, group games, and a touch of serious conversation about how you want to plan our future 4-H Teen Connect events in January and March of ’25! This event is facilitated by the Washington County 4-H Educator
