Welcome to the Washington County 4-H Rabbit Project.

The rabbit project is a hands-on project focused on raising and caring for rabbits in a safe, healthy environment. It teaches members about proper housing, nutrition, hygiene, and handling of rabbits. The project promotes responsibility, education, communication and connections through meetings and events.

Showing rabbits is possible for families due to their compact size and space requirement. With 53 recognized breeds there are many different breeds to choose from. The rabbit project provides a well-rounded and unique opportunity for youth members.

The Rabbit Project is a great choice for youth ages 8 and older or those entering 3rd grade. To participate, you will need a rabbit or plans to get one. Meetings are held at Fair Park, so transportation is only needed to attend those meetings.
