Positive Youth Development

Youth Development gives young people opportunities to learn new skills, gain self-confidence and contribute to their communities. Backed by the knowledge and research base of the University of Wisconsin’s Extension Institute of Positive Youth Development, educators design educational, leadership and citizenship experiences for youth that build youth & adult capacity and partnerships that help both sides grow.

Interviewing for Success!
(workshop for 9th – 13th graders)

Location: Washington County Public Agency Building, Room 1023

This interactive and fun workshop is designed for high school age youth that are preparing to interview for awards, scholarships, jobs or volunteer opportunities. Information and activities will cover interview skills, the top ‘Do’s and Don’ts’ for interviewing; and how to turn your experiences into Wow! statements that make your applications and interviews pop!

This workshop requires a minimum of 8 attendees in order to run as scheduled.
