Knitting Project
Beginners will start with learning the basics before moving on to reading and creating an item from a pattern. More advanced pattern reading and techniques will be the emphasis for those with knitting experience.

If you have some yarn on hand (anything at all will work!), I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND practicing tension using this video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMSd3UcCINM
EXPERIENCED KNITTERS – I suggest browsing ravelry.com to find a pattern you’d like to work on (follow one of the links above and I would suggest making a free account). You can filter your search based on yarn type, availability (free??), needle sizes you already have on hand, etc. Just let me know if you’d like any guidance in your search for the perfect project and yarn!
I have a youtube channel with very non-professional videos on basic knitting techniques. Please save this for help down the road! Knitting is like any sport or instrument! The more you practice, the faster your muscle memory will take over! https://www.youtube.com/@KnitWise4u
I look forward to meeting you all!
