Clothing Project
At Open Sewing Sessions, youth can receive instruction, see what others are sewing, and/or get help with their own projects. Come when you can, leave when you need to – ideal for our busy 4-H families. Members are encouraged to bring their own sewing machines if they have one.

Meetings
If you have always wanted to learn how to sew, within a small group, in a safe and relaxed setting, with other 4-H members and making what you want, then 4-H Sewing Saturdays may be just what you are looking for.
- When: Most Saturday afternoons: January through May
- Where: At the PAC (Public Agency Center) in West Bend, 333 East Washington Street (Washington Street and Indiana Avenue), use the driveway on Indiana Avenue, park in the parking lot, enter through the building’s entrance. We usually meet in Room #1010 (the lunch room).

Saturday, January 10: 1:30 p.m. Welcome and orientation: (approximately 45 minutes)
Saturday, January 17: 1:30 p.m. Meet at Hobby Lobby in West Bend – fabric department for an overview on fabric, supplies, and patterns. (My part will take 45 minutes with additional time after that for questions/help about patterns and fabric.)
Saturday, January 24: Personalized Pattern Interviews (one-on-one chat about your pattern) at the PAC (Public Agency Center). These 20 minute sessions begin at 1 p.m.

- Saturday, February 14: sewing 1 to 3 p.m.
- Saturday, February 21: sewing 1 to 3 p.m.

- Saturday, March 7: NO SEWING
- Saturday, March 14: sewing 1 to 3:30 p.m.
- Saturday, March 21: sewing 1 to 3:30 p.m.
- Saturday, March 28: sewing 1 to 3:30 p.m.
- Saturday, April 4: NO SEWING (Easter weekend)
- Saturday, April 11: sewing 1 to 4 p.m.
- Saturday, April 18: sewing 1 to 4 p.m.
- Saturday, April 25: sewing 1 to 4 p.m.
- Saturday, May 2: sewing 1 to 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday, May 9: sewing 1 to 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday, May 16: sewing 1 to 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday, May 23: NO SEWING (Memorial Day weekend)
- Saturday, May 30: sewing 1 to 4:30 p.m.
- June: sewing by appointment
Monday, June 1: Clothing Revue: (traditionally the first Monday in June)
(usually at the Fair Park Pavilion in the 4-H rooms #112 and #114 (6:30 to 8:30 p.m.) bring “narrative” sheet (sheet that explains your clothing item(s) that you made).
Monday, July 20: Face to Face Judging at the Fair Park (Ziegler Building) usually from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Wednesday, July 22: Fair Style Show at 6 p.m. in the Ziegler Building 5:00 to 5:25 =pickup your outfit(s) in the clothing display area; 5:30 to 5:45 = small group modeling practice and show directions
6:00 p.m. = The Style Show – enjoy the experience!
