7/1/25 Updated info for the Washington County Fair

We can offer testing that night from 5:00 – 6:00, 🦃🐔🦆

For those of you who aspire to participate in the poultry auction, that would be the day we can collect the list of people you sent auction invitation letters to.  You can also send the list to this email address.

As a second date, there is an animal project fair park workday scheduled for Saturday, July 12 at the Washington County Fair Park grounds (time to be confirmed). This is where people spruce up the grounds, pen and barn areas. We can offer pullorum testing on that date as well (probably people available 9-12).  For those of you who need pullorum testing at your farm/premise, please reach out and we will get that scheduled in the next two weeks so you have all the paperwork you need for the fair and any fall shows you might want to participate in.

One more date you will want on your radar is Thursday, July 17th.  That is the evening when we set-up the small animal barn with cages and curtains and decorations and fun for the fair.  That event will run from 5:30 until done (no later than 8:00).

If there are any other dates in between needed to help people get ready for the fair, we can adjust as needed.  Stay cool and we look forward to seeing many of you soon.

Cost

No cost (Each family needs to help raise funds by working 3 hours at a food stand at the Fond du Lac Poultry Swap meet in October and March)
