All Youth in Grades 3-13 are welcome to enter the March 13 Tri-County Visual Arts Festival!
- This year’s theme is “Nature in Art“.
- All Washington County youth in grades 3-13 are invited to enter
- Submit entries by Monday, February 15, 2021 at 11:59pm.
- Scan/photograph your artwork and use the Tri-County Visual Arts Festival Submission Form to submit your entry.
- Prizes will be awarded for each category.
Optional — but fun!
- An individual Zoom session with a judge and our Extension Washington County 4-H Program Educator during the day on Saturday, March 13.
- A “Meet the Artist” Zoom during the evening of Saturday, March 13, giving you an opportunity to talk about your art with other youth from the tri-counties of Washington, Fond du Lac, and Ozaukee. The time of this event will be determined based on the number of entries. We will confirm the time by Tuesday, February 23. Winners will be announced at this virtual event.

Drawing Using Any Medium
- Pencil, Ink, Charcoal, Pastel, Chalk or Other Media
- Supports Nature in Art theme
- No larger than 2’ x 3’
- Original art only, no kits
- Include artist statement about yourself
- Include answer to reflection questions in the submission form
Painting
- Acrylic, Watercolor or Oil
- Supports Nature in Art theme
- No larger than 2’ x 3’
- Original art only, no kits
- Include artist statement about yourself
- Include answer to reflection questions in the submission form
Photography
- Black and White or Color print
- Supports Nature in Art theme
- 8” x 10” or 11” x 17”
- Include artist statement about yourself
- Include answer to reflection questions in the submission form
Any Other Media
- Any media or mixed-media artwork that does not fall into any other category (including collage, paper art, flat origami, etc.)
- Supports Nature in Art theme
- No larger than 2’ x 3’
- Original art only, no kits
- Include artist statement about yourself
- Include answer to reflection questions in the submission form
