Across Wisconsin, many community partnerships have been established to promote financial well-being for individuals and families. Head Start families are invited to participate in the Money $mart in Head Start (M$iHS) project at the start of the school year which offers a series of financial newsletters and workshops led by Extension financial educators. In addition, local community organizations, financial institutions, and Extension financial educators collaborate to provide educational events during the Money $mart Week financial literacy campaign.

Across Wisconsin, many community partnerships have been established to promote financial capability (monthly newsletters, financial workshops and financial coaching) with families in Head Start or Early Head Start.

16 monthly financial newsletters have been created by UW-Madison Division of Extension financial educators. Topics range from budgeting to talking to your children about money.
