4-H New Family Orientation Series 2019-2020

This 3-part series will walk new families through the 4-H year, giving important and relevant information when you need it most. All families (both new and not-so-new) are welcome to attend all three parts or just the parts most needed. All sessions take place from 6:00-7:30 pm at the Washington County Fair Park, Ziegler Building, 3000 Hwy PV, West Bend, WI 53095

  • Part 1: Welcome to 4-H Monday, November 25, 2019

    Receive a general overview and understanding of 4-H, and make sense of all the 4-H terms, and gain a better understanding of how club and project meetings work, what their own role is, 4-H summer camp, county workshops, youth leadership opportunities, and more
  • Part 2: Record Book Rally Monday, January 27, 2020

    4-H provides each member with a record book—a green binder in which to set goals, keep records, and reflect on your 4-H activities, which can be submitted at the end of the 4-H year for consideration for awards. Learn all about this time-honored tradition of 4-H Record Books!
  • Part 3: Let’s Go to the Fair! Wednesday, May 20, 2020

    Adults will learn how to register their youth for the County Fair and how to sign up for volunteer opportunities needed to take advantage of a discounted season pass, while youth will learn about the judging process, as well as the exhibit check-in and check-out process.
